Roll call vote. All <br />Councilors present voting aye, the bill was declared passed <br />and numbered 18119. <br /> <br />IV. Resolutions <br /> <br />Manager noted Res. No. 2828, opposing sale of Krugerrand coins had <br />been held over from Council meeting February 1. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieuallen moved, seconded by Mr. Bradley, to allow public <br />hearing of ten minutes for testimony. <br /> <br />Mr. Obie requested a point of order as the item had not been advertised <br />as a public hearing, and he felt it necessary to notify all citizens. <br />He questioned City Attorney if the motion was out of order. Stan Long <br />said it was discretionary with the Council. ~Is. Smith said she opposed <br />the motion, noting a major concern regarding the amount of Council's <br />time spent on such issues. <br /> <br />Vote was taken on the motion, which passed with Haws, Delay, <br />Lieuallen, and Bradley voting aye; Williams, Obie, and Smith <br />voting no. <br /> <br />Public hearing was opened. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />2/13/78--13 <br /> <br />'tl <br />
