2005 Legislative Session IGR Committee Bill Approval June 13, 2005 <br /> <br /> Requires that school site or developable area outside urban growth boundary and <br /> urban reserve area that is identified by high growth school district is deemed to be <br /> urban reserve area. Requires local government to include school site or developable <br /> area within urban growth boundary if high growth school district establishes that <br /> school site or developable area as appropriate will receive adequate urban services <br /> SB 1032 2 Oppose pursuant to urban services agreement or otherwise. 4/28 <br /> Requires person that owns or uses personal information to notify individual and <br /> consumer reporting agencies when there is breach of security that may result in <br /> misuse of personal information. Requires consumer reporting agency receiving notice <br /> of potential misuse of personal information to place security alert in relevant credit <br /> reports. Requires consumer reporting agency, at request of consumer, to place <br /> security freeze on consumer reports about consumer. Creates exceptions to <br /> requirements. Prohibits disclosure of Social Security number of individual. Provides <br /> exceptions. Punishes violation by maximum of one year's imprisonment, $6,250 fine, <br /> !or both. Requires person maintaining or possessing records containing personal <br /> information to take measures to protect against unauthorized access to or use of <br /> information prior to disposal or destruction of information. Allows private cause of <br /> SB 1057 2 Support action for damages. Makes violation of provisions of Act unlawful trade practice. 5/26 <br /> SJM 0005 2 Oppose Urges Congress to update Endangered Species Act. 3/17 <br /> Proposes amendment to Oregon Constitution to allow local taxing district to adopt <br /> site value taxation system that taxes land at one rate and all other property at lesser <br /> rate. Requires site value taxation system to be in lieu of uniform ad valorem property <br /> taxes of district. Exempts site value tax from constitutional limits imposed on property <br /> taxes. Refers proposed amendment to people for their approval or rejection at next <br /> S JR 0001 2 Monitor regular general election. 2/11 <br /> Proposes amendment to Oregon Constitution to allow Legislative Assembly, and <br /> people of state, to modify remedies in common law causes of action. Refers <br /> proposed amendment to people for their approval or rejection at special election held <br /> S JR 0016 2 Monitor on same date as next primary election. 4/28 <br /> Proposes amendment to Oregon Constitution to increase percentage of net <br /> 2roceeds from State Lottery that must be deposited in education stability fund. <br /> Increases cap on education stability fund. Increases amount to be placed in school <br /> capital matching account when cap on education stability fund is met.
