Mobile Home Code Amenqment--Amendment to Section 9.806 (Mobile <br /> Homes Permitted Locations) of the Eugene Code, 1971; to permit <br /> changes in occupancy of mobile homes sited on individual lots, <br /> but not located in mobile home subdivisions or mobile home parks <br /> (CA 80-2) (memo distributed)--Mr. Henry noted that this particular <br /> amendment was recommended for approval by the Planning Commission <br /> on May 12, 1980, by a vote of 4:2 and is in response to a request <br /> by Councilor Obie. It would permit changes in occupancy of mobile <br /> homes on individual lots in areas newly annexed. He introduced <br /> Mr. Farah to provide background information. <br /> Mr. Farah distributed copies of the ordinance to the councilors. <br /> He noted that this is in response to a request made two months ago <br /> e by Councilor Obie. Staff reviewed that part of the code dealing <br /> with mobile home occupancy and recommended the changes. <br /> Mr. Farah noted that the modified ordinance would allow change of <br /> residents in mobile homes and individual lots, but not repl acement <br /> by other mobile homes. <br /> , <br /> Public hearing was opened; there being no testimony, public <br /> hearing was closed. <br /> CB 2174--An ordinance concerning mobile homes; amending Section 9.806 of <br /> the Eugene Code, 1971; and declaring an emergency. <br /> Ms. Smith moved, seconded by Mr. L i eua 11 en, that the b i 11 be read <br /> the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous <br /> consent of the council; and that enactment be considered at this <br /> time. <br /> Mr. Obie noted that this change is to allow people to move out of <br /> their mobile homes which are on individual lots and to either rent <br /> or sell those homes.
