<br /> It has been a small group in the past and they want to broaden their
<br /> base. Members of the public could also contact council members to e
<br /> indicate interest in participating on this committee. Mr. Obie
<br /> indicated agreement and noted that the community is made up of many
<br /> interest groupsand he hop~s that this committee will represent these
<br /> various interests. He. hopes that the committee will be a supportive
<br /> group for the actions which the council takes.
<br /> Mary Hudzikiewicz stated that this committee has been talking about
<br /> year-round involvement. Philip Miller and Dick Meigs arso can be
<br /> contacted.
<br /> D. Appointments to CETA Advisory Council
<br /> Mayor Keller noted that he is recommending councilors Betty Smith and
<br /> Emily Schue, not Bill Hamel as noted in his memo, for the Eugene Prime
<br /> Sponsor Advisory Council. He is recommending that the Private Industry
<br /> Council be chaired pro tem by Mike Schwartz, 2390 Lariat Drive. He
<br /> nominated the following for appointment:
