W. Hamel, Eric Haws, Cynthia Wooten, and Emily Schue. <br /> <br />Adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, was called <br />to order by His Honor Mayor Gus Keller. <br /> <br />I. ITEMS FROM MAYOR & COUNCIL, APPOINTMENTS, ANNOUNCEMENTS, AGENDA ADJUSTMENTS <br /> <br />A. Budget Subcommittee Meeting <br /> <br />Mr. Obie stated that after the council meeting, a subcommittee of the Budget <br />Committee would meet in the Mayor's Office to refine the process for the upcoming <br />budget year. <br /> <br />B. Real Estate Transfer Tax <br /> <br />Ms. Wooten stated that she would like a report on action taken by the Lane <br />County commissioners regarding a proposed real estate property transfer tax <br />before the end of this meeting. She feels the council should take a formal <br />position on this matter in the near future. <br /> <br />C. Appointments <br /> <br />1. Councilor Wooten's appointment to the Eugene Budget Committee <br />(memo distributed) <br /> <br />Ms. Wooten moved, seconded by Mr. Obie, to appoint Margaret <br />Simeral, 1641 Grant Street, to the Eugene Budget Committee. <br />Roll call vote; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2.
