He suggested that the City Finance Department return to the <br />council with a proposal on how to deal with assessments made to low-income <br />people. <br /> <br />Roll call vote. ORDINANCES LEVYING ASSESSMENTS--FIRST READING AND REFERRAL TO <br />HEARINGS PANEL ; <br /> <br />CB 2288--An ordinance levying assessments for paving on Jefferson Street <br />from Clark Avenue to 300 feet north of River Street (79-43). <br /> <br />Ms. Miller moved, seconded by Mr. Obie, that the bill be read for <br />the first time and referred to the Hearings Panel for hearing <br />May 18, 1981, with panel recommendations to be brought back for <br />council consideration on May 26, 1981. Roll call vote; motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CB 2289--An ordinance levying assessments for paving Fuller Street from <br />Echo Hollow Road to Jay Street (80-13). <br /> <br />Ms. Miller moved, seconded by Mr. Obie, that the bill be read for <br />the first time and referred to the Hearings Panel for hearing <br />May 18, 1981, with panel recommendations to be brought back for <br />council consideration on May 26, 1981.
