GILLESPIE BUTTE INITIATIVE PETITION (memo distributed) <br /> Mr. Gleason introduced Warren Wong, Financial Services Director. <br /> Mr. Wong stated that at the June 24, 1981, City Council meeting, council had <br /> discussed the Gillespie Butte initiative petition and directed staff to obtain <br /> additional information. He explained the process of filing an initiative <br /> petition with the finance officer, which would be one option for the council. <br /> After the initiative petition is filed with the finance officer, there would be <br /> ten days to verify the signatures on the initiative petition.
