<br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, a <br />Municipal Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. It shall be the policy of the City of Eugene to support and endorse the Lane <br />County Food Policy Council to review and recommend to the community policies, programs and <br />food initiatives that will strengthen the local food economy, improve access to healthy and <br />nutritious food, engage citizens in food system planning and leverage community resources. <br /> <br />Section 2.
