ATTACHMENT D <br />ORDINANCE NO. ________ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING HOUSING ON CHURCH, SYNAGOGUE AND <br />TEMPLE PROPERTY AND AMENDING SECTIONS 9.2740 AND 9.2741 OF THE <br />EUGENE CODE. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br />- <br />to provide as follows: <br />Table 9.2740 Residential Zone Land Uses and Permit Requirements <br />R-1R-R-2R-3R-4 <br />1.5 <br />Residential <br />Dwellings.(All dwellings, including secondary <br />dwellings, shall meet minimum and maximum density <br />requirements in accordance with Table 9.2750 <br />Residential Zone Development Standards unless <br />specifically exempted elsewhere inthis land use code. <br />All dwelling types are permitted if approved through the <br />Planned Unit Development process.) <br />One-Family Dwelling (1 Per Lot in R-1), except PPPP <br />as provided at EC 9.2741(10) for Churches, <br />Synagogues and Temples) <br />Section 2. <br />Subsection (10)is added to Section 9.2741 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to <br />provide as follows: <br />9.2741 Special Use Limitations for Table 9.2740. <br />(10) In addition to any residential structures for religious personnel, <br />Churches, Synagogues and Temples in R-1are permitted to have up <br />to two dwellings per lot that are not subject to the multiple-family <br />standards at EC 9.5500, provided all of the following are met: <br />(a) Each dwelling is used exclusively forlow-income individuals <br />and/or families where all units are subsidized. For the <br />purposes of this section, low-income means having income <br />at or below 80 percent of the area median income as defined <br />by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. <br />(b) Each dwelling is limited to 800 square feet in area and 18 feet <br />in height. <br />(c) The development site does not exceed the maximum net <br />density per acre in EC 9.2750. <br />Ordinance - Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />
