As a <br />Community Park playground, it <br />was decided that the renovation <br />should go beyond the typical <br />replacement of playground <br />equipment and should embrace <br />the history of the site as an ADA <br />accessible playground. With the <br />acquisition of a $250,000 grant from <br />the State of Oregon and National Parks, <br />the City was able to bring the idea of an <br />accessible playground into the future and create <br />a fully inclusive playground with the installation of <br />fully accessible surfacing.
