Mr. Pryor said it was useful to have a document such as the Legislative Policy document which presented the City’s <br />position on important issues, with recommendations but not specific tasks. He also suggested a companion briefing <br />documents with specific information about specific issues. <br /> <br />Ms. Walston said the Legislative Policies document would go to the City Council on November 8, 2006. <br />The committee commenced its review of the document beginning with the Introduction. <br /> <br />I. Executive Summary <br /> <br />Preserving Livability in Transportation and the Environment <br /> <br />Ms. Bettman proposed adding the following: The City supports removal of the prohibition of SDCs for schools, <br />police, fire, library, while preserving existing SDCs. <br /> <br />Ms. Bettman, seconded by Ms. Taylor, moved to accept the revised language.
