Commission work is identified below either <br />as directed by the existing work plan (WP) or as an emerging issue (EI). Please contact commission <br />staff Greg Rikhoff, Francisca Leyva-Johnson, or Karen Hyatt at 682-5177 if you have questions. <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION TAKEN <br /> <br />Commissioners approved the payment of $150 to the Peacemakers Conference at Lane Community <br />College for the purpose of youth scholarships. (WP) <br /> <br /> <br />TOPICS DISCUSSED <br /> <br />Commission Leadership and Liaison Assignments: <br />Carmen Urbina was re-elected as Commission <br />Chair and Surendra Subramani was re-elected as Vice Chair. The commission recommended that <br />Hugh Massengill’s name be forwarded as Neil Van Steenbergen’s replacement as liaison to the Police <br />Commission.
