The council meets periodically to talk about its processes and operating agreements. <br />BACKGROUND The Municipal Charter of the City of Eugene, Eugene City Code and Oregon Revised Statues govern many meeting requirements and actions of the Mayor and City Council. The Eugene Charter, Chapter 2 of the Eugene City Code, and various sections of ORS 192 and 244 are primary sources of these meeting and other operating requirements. In addition, the council has adopted Operating Agreements as outlined in Attachment A. They were last updated by council in October 2011. This work session is an opportunity for council to review the agreements and discuss potential changes. <br />RELATED CITY POLICIES No related City policies are relevant to this discussion. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL OPTIONS The council may provide input and direction for staff follow up on the issues discussed.
