On September 5, 2018, notice of the September 10, 2018 City Council public <br />hearing on the proposed Ordinance was published in the Register Guard, as required by EC <br />9.7440(3). <br /> <br />H. On August 23, 2018, notice of the September 10, 2018 City Council public <br />hearing was published in the Register Guard as required by Section 28 of the Eugene Charter of <br />2002. <br /> <br />I. On September 10, 2018, the City Council held a public hearing on the proposed street <br />name change. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, a <br />Municipal Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. Based on the above findings, and the testimony presented to the Planning <br />Commission and City Council, the City Council rejects the Eugene Planning Commission’s <br />recommendation to rename the unimproved section of Suzanne Way located north of Crescent <br />Avenue, to Tennyson Avenue. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The City Recorder is requested to forward a copy of this Resolution to the <br />Eugene Planning Commission, to those persons who have requested notice, and to persons who <br />presented oral and written testimony at the public hearings before the Planning commission and <br />City Council. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
