G. On September 5, 2018, notice of the September 10, 2018 City Council public hearing on the proposed Ordinance was published in the Register Guard, as required by EC 9.7440(3). H. On August 23, 2018, notice of the September 10, 2018 City Council public hearing was published in the Register Guard as required by Section 28 of the Eugene Charter of 2002. I. On September 10, 2018, the City Council held a public hearing on the proposed street name change. J. Evidence exists within the record, and within the findings attached as Exhibit B, establishing that the proposal meets the requirements of Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, and the requirements of applicable state and local law. NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. In accordance with the Eugene Planning Commission recommendation, the street name of the approximately 236 foot unimproved section of Suzanne Way located north of Crescent Avenue within the City of Eugene, as shown on the map attached as Exhibit A to this Ordinance, is renamed to Tennyson Avenue. Section 2. The above findings and the findings set forth in Exhibit B attached to this Ordinance are adopted in support of this street name change. Section 3. The City Manager is directed to cause appropriate signage to be installed indicating that the section of Suzanne Way described in Section 1 above and depicted on the map attached as Exhibit A, is now Tennyson Avenue. Section 4. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall be filed with the Lane County Recorder, the Lane County Assessor, and the Lane County Surveyor.
