Is there anything you would like to add? <br /> <br />Mr. Kelly and Ms. Bettman left the meeting. <br /> <br />The council interviewed one candidate for a position on the Planning Commission, Randy Hledik. <br />Mr. Hledik was asked the following questions: <br /> <br /> 1. Why did you apply for the Planning Commission and what do you hope to contribute? <br /> Do you see yourself as representing any particular point of view or group? <br /> 2. Tell us about your experience working on difficult issues at a big picture level with <br /> sometimes very difficult and divergent opinions. <br /> 3. What is your experience working with a group effectively, especially in regard to <br /> long processes. Have you any previous experience in working with groups in a <br /> collective manner? <br /> 4. In your opinion, which issue should be given the highest priority by the Planning <br /> Commission over the next four years? Why do you consider this the most important <br /> issue? <br /> 5. The Planning Commission must often balance competing interests when developing <br /> planning documents and making land use decisions. In your opinion, what are the <br /> most important factors for the Planning Commission to consider in its decision <br /> making? <br /> 6. Please share your views on how the Planning Commission can foster involvement of <br /> the whole community in long-range projects? <br /> 7. Do you have any questions of us?
