ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />3.9 Advanced manufacturing. Encourage the expansion of existing and <br />the location of new manufacturing activities, especially in advanced <br />technology and manufacturing, heavy machinery, advanced <br />materials, and advanced wood products. <br />3.10 Food and beverage manufacturing. Promote the expansion of <br />food and beverage manufacturing and processing facilities, <br />including beer and wine, frozen desserts, agricultural products, and <br />natural foods. <br />3.11 Health and wellness. Promote the development of expanded <br />opportunities in the health and wellness sectors, including health <br />care, biomedical research and development, and facets of healthy <br />living, such as active transportation and outdoor recreation. <br />3.12 Clean technology and renewable energy. Support the <br />development of an industry cluster in renewable energy and clean <br />technology. <br />3.13 Software and educational technology. Support the expansion of <br />the local software development field, including educational, <br />gaming, and other types of computer software. <br />3.14 Biomedical and biotechnology.
