Goals, Objectives and General Comments

What are the Manager's most important strengths in performing his job?

Dennis is clearly very committed to his work, to the organization, and presents himself very well
as a visible member of the community in a variety of venues.
Dennis is very straightforward in one-on-one communication.
He has continued very positive financial management policies in the organization.
He seems to be a very good negotiator, based on the tidbits I've heard regarding various projects
and intergovernmental issues.

In what areas do you believe the Manager should improve his performance or skills?

I've stated plenty throughout the evaluation re this question.

· Are there any specific goals and objectives you would like to set for the Manager for the
coming year?

As I said last year, I wish the manager could figure out a way that councilors and senior staff (not
just the execs) can interact informally. This took place in earlier administrations - the sky didn't
fall, and it generally led to increased efficiency and trust.

· Do you have any additional comments about the Manager's performance over the past
year or expectations for the coming year?

No.

10
