However, I dislike in-lieu of fees for the same reason cap and <br />trade policies have been bad at dealing with climate issues. <br />• The group as a needs to look at our zoning code map--simply changing some R1 to R2 <br />would do quite a bit! <br />• How you address not just the amount of housing but also people's ability to afford <br />housing—affordability could be helped with increased wages or incentives for <br />residential solar on rental properties <br />• Efficiencies with utilities isn’t something landlords are likely to do currently because <br />they have to pay for it and rarely pay utility bills. <br />• I do not believe that the UGB should be expanded. The point of the UGB is to limit urban <br />sprawl. We should not walk away from that concept just because neighbors are <br />objecting to infill. <br />• Preserving agricultural and forest land is a benefit to us all.
