These estimated aSsessments were: <br /> <br />Wastewater <br /> StOrm Drainage and curb and gutter <br /> SideWalks~riveway Apron <br /> <br />$ 30,87T96/lump sum <br />$ 33.59/front foot <br />$ 3.98/square foot <br /> <br />PUBLIC INWOLVEMENT <br /> <br />On October 29, 1998, an initial public information meeting was conducted to provide property <br />owners and interested parties with information regarding the proposed Delta <br />improvement project and get their input about preliminary concepts fbr upgrading North Delta <br />Highway. Staff wanted to assure residents that they were aware of the ne~ghborhood's <br />transportation needs. <br /> <br />On November 12, 1998, a hearing regarding the proposed improvements to Delta Highway was <br />conducted to give property owners the opportunity to provide input to the City Council on the <br />needs and issues associated with the project. <br /> <br />On December 7, 1999, stat'f held a design review meeting to discuss design alternatives with <br />property owners and interested parties. <br /> <br />With the input from reside4~ts and property owners both at the December 7 meeting and <br />individually over a several month period, staff refined the design and presented a final design <br />proposal to owzters and interested parties in a joint drop-in infbrmafion open house on <br />December 6, 2000, for both the North Delta Highway and Ayres Road projects. <br /> <br />On June 5, 2001, a hearing regarding the fbrmation of the Local Improvement District (LID) was <br /> <br />PA'VING, C~RBS AND GUTTERS, SIDEWALKS, STREET LIGHTS, STREET TREES, AND STORM <br />SEWERS ON DELTA HIGHWAY FROM GREEN ACRES ROAD TO AYRES ROAD <br />FINAL ASSESSMENT Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
