River Road <br />Highway 99 <br />Coburg Road <br />Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard <br />30th Avenue/LCC <br />(Existing EmX)SPRINGFIELD <br />EUGENE <br />U <br />G <br />B <br />UG <br />B <br />5 <br />5 <br />Corridor Findings <br />MovingAhead takes a unique approach by comparing investment options <br />within fi ve corridors at once. <br />The project started with a list of 10 <br />potential corridors that were then <br />subject to an evaluation process <br />to determine the best options for <br />near-term investment. <br />An initial review, called a Fatal <br />Flaw Screening, removed <br />alternatives that were not a <br />priority for capital investments <br />over the next 10 years. This was <br />followed by a Level 1 Screening <br />that more thoroughly evaluated <br />the corridors based on public <br />support and the project’s Purpose, <br />Need, Goals, and Objectives. <br />Based on community input and <br />technical analysis, fi ve corridors <br />and alternatives were deemed <br />the most promising for near-term <br />investment, and were advanced to <br />the Level 2 Screening (Alternatives <br />Analysis) described here. <br />Corridors <br />Considered Fatal <br />Flaw <br />Screening <br />Level 1 <br />Screening <br />Level 2 Screening <br /> (Alt.
