ORDINANCE NO. 20267 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A CHASE NODE <br />SPECIAL A~A ZONE; AMENDING SECTIONS 9.1030, <br />9.8030~ 9.8865 AND 9.9700 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; <br />ADDING SECTIONS 9.3100 TO 9.3126 TO THAT CODE; <br />AMENDING THE EUGENE ZONING MAP; AMENDING THE <br />EUGENE OVERLAY ZONE MAP; ADOPTING A <br />SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Section 9.1030 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended by adding the following <br />in alphabetical order to the Table 9.1030 Special Area Zone listing: <br /> <br />9~1030 EstabJishmenLand List of Zones. The zones listed in Table 9.1030 Zones are <br /> established as follows: <br /> <br />S-CN <br /> <br />Table 9.1030 Zones <br /> <br /> Chase Node S_~cial Area Zone <br /> <br /> SeCtion 2. The following caption and Sections 9.3100, 9.3105, 9.3110, 9.3115, 9.3116, <br />9~3120, 9.3125, and 9.3126 are added to the Eugene Code, 1971, to provide: <br /> <br />S-CN Chase Node Special Area Zone <br /> <br />9.3100 <br /> <br />Purpose_of S-CN Chase Node__~S ecial Area Zone. The special area zone applied to <br />the Chase Node area is intended to implement the Metro Plan and TransPlan by <br />ensuring that: <br />(1) The overall street system and internal circulation systems provide a network that <br /> encourages walking, bicycling and transit use, reduces vehicle miles traveled, <br /> and meets the City's street connectivity standards. <br />(2) A coordinated system of striped bicycle lanes, on-street bicycle routes, and off- <br /> street bicycle paths shall be developed within the node. <br />(3) Multi-family developments retain visual and physical links to adjacent public <br /> <br />Ordinance- 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
