Primary Drainage Channels - Construction
Timing: Flexible, depending on timing and location of
development
Cost: $730,000
Funding Source: Storm water Utility Fund, Storm water SDC

Page D-4. Revise the Storm Water Drainage description as fbllows:

The City will purchase land needed to construct the drainage system and will design the
system beginning in FY 2004. Construction of ~ the system ~ will be
delayed until new development is approved in the node.

ba~:t r~ th~, Cu=em city policy would
require a determination of-what potion of the open system would be ~e equivalent of a
24" piped system. The cost of providing drainage to the equivalent area would be
assessed to benefi~ing prope~ies in the ~ea. The City could ass~e ~e cost of
providing drainage to the area in excess of the 24" equivalent area. Assessments would
include the cost of acquiring l~d on which the chapels would be constructed. Property
owners within the node will not be assessed for drainage improvements until their
properD' is annexed to the Ci~ and a development proposal is approved on that
property.

Errata5
