Therefore, Goal 7 does not apply. <br /> <br />Goal 8 - Recreational Needs. To satisJ) the recreational ~eeds of the citizens of' the state and <br />visitors, and where apprOPriate, to provide for the siting of necessary recreational facilities <br />including destination resorts. <br /> <br />The amendments provide a clearer list of all of the park uses that are allowed in the AG, <br /> ~ 4 <br />GO, R-l, R-2, R-J, R- , S-DW and S-W zones. These amendments assist the City in providing for <br />recreation areas, facilities or recreational opportunities. Therefore, the arnendments are consistent <br />with Goal 8. <br /> <br />Goal 9 - Economic DeveIopmem'. To provide adequate opportunities throughout the state for <br />variety of economic activities vital to the health, welfare, and prosperity of Oregon '$ citizens. <br /> <br />The amendments do not diminish the supply of co~ercial or ~ndustrial hands. Therefore, the <br />amendments are consistent With Goal 9. <br /> <br />Goa[ ]O -. Housing. To provide for the housing needs of citizens of the state. <br /> <br />The amendments have no impact on the supply of residential lands. To plan and develop a timely, orderly, and efficient <br />arrangement of public facilities and services to serve as a fbamework for urban and rural <br />development. <br /> <br />The amendments do nor concern the C~ty s prows~o of public facilities and services. To provide and encourage a safe, convenient and economic transportation <br />system. <br /> <br />The amendmems do not significantly affect a transportation facility.
