I believe strongly that these issues require more
than band-aid solutions to cover the symptoms, but rather
meaningful, original, and sometimes radical ideas that actually
get to the *root* of the problem. It is because of this belief that I
hope to be part of the Eugene planning commission. It is here
where ingenuity can make a big impact towards shifting the
course of our community.
M
Human Rights Commission
Dillon G. I believe this can happen
best through grassroots efforts to build/encourage
networks of mutual aid among neighbors. Through local,
directly democratic institutions, I believe a new and better
world could be built in the shell of the old.
Dillon Thomson
HRC - Round 1 Applications July 8, 2019, Meeting – Item 4
