(dBa), <br />Receivino Property Zonina District . <br />Time of Day Residential I-I Commercial <br />7 am - 10 pm 57 65 65 <br />10 pm - 7 am 50 65 60 <br />In the event the receiving property is occupied by a dwelling. <br />hospital, school, library or nursing home. even though it may be <br />otherwi se zoned for coomerci a 1 or i ndustri a 1 and re 1 ated uses. <br />maximum one-hour equivalent sound pressure received shall be: <br />Time of Day Level <br />7 am - 10 pm 57 <br />10 pm - 7 am 50 <br />. (b) ExistinQ Uses. Noise emissions from uses existing as of <br />January 27, 1982. that exceed prescribed maximums shall comply with <br />those maximums within 24 months thereof. <br />(e) Noises of short duration. For noises of short duration <br />or impulsive character. such as hanunerin9_ maxi.mum one-hour sound <br />pressure levels permitted beyond the property of origin shall be <br />seven deCibels less than those listed in section 9.644(a). <br />(d) Noises of unusual periodic chara.cter. For noises of <br />unusual periodic character, such as hUll1lling, screeching, and pure <br />tones, the follOWing median octave band sound pressure levels, as <br />required by the Department. of Environmental Quality, shall not be <br />exceeded beyond the property of origin when the receiving property <br />is residentially zoned or is occupied by a dwelling, hospital, <br />school, library_ or nursing home: . <br /> <br />1.
