<br />Chapter 3 <br /> <br />Preli <br />Su <br /> <br /> <br />inary land <br />Anal sis <br /> <br />This chapter present <br />SpringfieldUGB based <br />section: (1) a summary <br />of vacant land; and (3) a <br /> <br />preliminary land supply analysis for the Eugene- <br />queries from the database. It is divided into three <br />Jhe commercial and industrial land base; (2) a summary <br />mmary of potentially redevelopable land. . <br /> <br />RESULTS <br /> <br />LAND BASE <br /> <br />Table 3-1 shows acr within the Eugene-Springfield Urban Growth <br />Boundary (UGB) by ju s iction. The data indicate that the Metro UGB <br />encompasses over 76 sq re miles (over 49,000 acres). Not ~llland within the Metro UGB, <br />however, is in tax lots. hIe 3-2 shows that about 830/0 of the land within the <br />Metro UGB is in tax lot. ,The percentages for Eugene and Springfield are roughly <br />comparable, while the a a between the city l~mits and UGB has a slightly higher <br />percentage of land in ta ots.
