The candidate (Ernst) receiving the <br />fewest # 1 votes is eliminated and ,the second place votes for that <br />person are given to the next choice. In this case, the #2 vote from Bettman <br />is given to Olson. Given that not aU councilors have voted! both Bollenbaugh <br />and Olson will remain as candidates for consideration at the meeting on <br />January 22, 2007. <br />
