<br /> <br />5.The City Council could provide direction on whether the City should request the inclusion of street <br />rights-of-way with voluntary annexations in the area and under what criteria or conditions such a <br />request should be made. <br /> <br /> <br />6.The City Council could initiate an annexation of certain street rights-of-way in the area after an <br />appropriate study of which ones are most appropriate. <br /> <br /> <br />7.The City Council could direct the City Manager to develop an annexation proposal to be placed on <br />the ballot for consideration by the unincorporated voters in River Road, Santa Clara, a combination <br />of both areas or some subset of the area. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />The City Manager recommends continuation of the current annexation practices, the administrative <br />request process to add street rights-of-way and continued support for the Lane County Local <br />Government Boundary Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION <br /> <br />Move to continue support for the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission and to <br />continue current annexation practices. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />A.
