The council greeted Budget Committee applicant Jack Lucier and asked him the same questions <br />asked of Ms. Rygas. <br /> <br />Following the interview, Mr. Kelly thanked Mr. Lucier and indicated the council would be making <br />the appointment on October 28. Mr. Lucier left the meeting. <br /> <br />Councilors shared impressions of the candidate. <br /> <br />B.Interviews for Planning Commission <br /> <br />Councilors greeted Planning Commission applicant Richard Duncan. Councilors introduced <br />themselves to Mr. Duncan, and asked him the following questions. <br /> <br /> 1. Why did you apply for the Planning Commission and what do you hope to contribute ? <br /> <br />Mr. Rayor arrived at the meeting. <br /> <br /> 2. In your opinion, which issue should be given highest priority by the Planning <br /> Commission over the next four years? Why do you consider this the most important <br /> issue? <br /> <br /> 3. The Planning Commission must often balance competing interests when developing <br /> planning documents and making land use decisions. In your opinion, what are the <br /> most important factors for the Planning Commission to consider in its decision-making? <br /> <br /> 4. Please share your views on how the Planning Commission can foster involvement of <br /> the whole community in long-range planning projects. <br /> <br /> 5. Do you have any questions of us? Is there anything you would like to add? <br /> <br />Mr. Kelly thanked Mr. Duncan for attending the interview, and indicated the council would be <br />making a decision on October 28. Mr. Duncan left the meeting. <br /> <br />Councilors shared impressions of the candidate. <br /> <br />The council greeted Planning Commission applicant Jerrry Finnigan and asked him the same <br />questions asked of Mr. Duncan. Following the interview, Mr. Kelly thanked Mr. Duncan and <br />indicated the council would be making the appointment on October 28.
