Attachment G (cont.)
22. Bettman On page 143 is the budget for the Downtown Urban Renewal PDD
district amounting to 2.4 million, please provide a list of all the
projects regardless of cost. I know council need not approve
projects under one quarter million, but we have the right to see
what the committee is spending the money on.
The $400,000/year is a placeholder for capital projects to support downtown development.
th
Examples of possible projects/sites include: 10 & Charnelton; West Broadway RFP, Park
Blocks improvements. The Eugene Redevelopment Advisory Committee (ERAC) will make the
allocation recommendations in a public process and projects over $250,000 will be presented to
Council for approval. Councilors, and all interested parties, will receive information on the
allocations.
23. Bettman Please provide us with a list of the specific projects in the PDD
Riverfront district, Courthouse District Plan and Related
Projects page 156, totaling 2.1 million as well.
The $350,000/year is a placeholder for capital projects to support development in the courthouse
area. Examples of possible projects include: pending RFP for city-owned site east of the new
courthouse; infrastructure improvements. The Eugene Redevelopment Advisory Committee
(ERAC) will make the allocation recommendations in a public process and projects over
$250,000 will be presented to Council for approval.
