<br />Jefferson Westside Neighbors' Resolutions <br /> <br />On September 12, 2006, the Jefferson Westsid.e Neighbors in general meeting <br />unanimously (34~O) resolved: <br /> <br />The Jefferson Westside Neighbors (JWN) requests City Council amend the Metro Plan, <br />the Jefferson/Far West Refinement Plan, and the Land Use Code to limit su.barea 15 in <br />the plan (either in its entiretyT or the portion south of Amazon C.anal) to Low Density <br />Residential d.evelopment. Further, the JWN supports a provision that unless Council takes <br />further action with regard to the subject area, the subject area shall revert to allow Low- <br />to Medium-Density Residential development on Jul:y 1, 2008. <br /> <br />The J\\'N co-chairs are directed to take appropriate action to communicate this req.uest to <br />Cit~y staff and officials and to work for its prompt implementation. <br /> <br />On March 14, 2006, the Jefferson Westside N'eighbors in general meeting <br />unanimously (48-0) resolved: <br /> <br />Jefferson \Vestside Neighbors requests City Council adopt a te.m.porary moratorium on <br />zone cllanges forlots \vithin the are,a encompassed by the Jefferson/Far West Refinement <br />Plan that was redesignated in 2004 from "Lo\v-Density Residentiar' to "Medium-Density <br />Residentiar~ on the Metro Plan Diagram. This area is approxitnately as shown in the map <br />associated with "Jefferson residential area #15~' (in the first column on page 28) of the <br />Jefferson/Far West Refinement Plan.. <br /> <br />The moratorium should remain ineffe:ct Ulltil Council adopts appro.priate development <br />standards to protect this area's 11ei.ghborhood.character~ as stated in the refillement pla.n~s <br />policy for tllis area. <br />
