To the amended motion, the motion passed 5:1, with Ms. Nathanson voting in <br /> opposition. Before the meeting adjourned, Mr. Rayor requested to change his vote on <br /> this motion, to be recorded in opposition. Without objection, the final vote on this <br /> motion was 4:2, with Ms. Bettman, Mr. Kelly, Mr. Meisner and Ms. Taylor voting in <br /> support; Ms. Nathanson and Mr. Rayor voting in opposition; Mr. Fart and Mr. Papd <br /> being absent. <br /> <br />Mr. Gaydos commented on the proceedings and noted that any proposed changes to the Metro Plan would <br />have significant costs at public expense. He asked that the City Council try to be civil to each other and to <br />the guests invited to attend the meeting. <br /> <br />Ms. Morrison thanked Mr. Gaydos for the comments. Ms. Morrison adjourned the Board of County <br />Commissioners. <br /> <br />Ms. Morrison left for another commitment. <br /> <br />Mr. Sorenson said that it was valuable to be able to thank people for their efforts. These issues are difficult <br />and time-consuming. He commented that democracy was like French impressionist painting, it looks so <br />much better from a distance. He said that having an official position was not always an advantage.
