Exhibit C <br /> <br />City of Eugene Hatton Annexation (A 19-4) August 2019 Page 3 <br />within the all right-of-way segments proposed for annexation. <br /> <br />Stormwater <br />Manzana Street, Evergreen Drive and Hatton Avenue rights-of-ways have existing <br />stormwater lines ranging from 15” to 48” in diameter. Any future street drainage <br />improvements will be subject to city standards and specifications at the time of <br />improvement. <br /> <br />Transportation <br />These sections of Right-of-Way will continue to operate as before, and no impact will <br />occur from the annexation. <br /> <br />Solid Waste <br />Collection service is provided by private firms. Regional disposal sites and the Short <br />Mountain Landfill are operated by Lane County. <br /> <br />Water and Electric <br />Eugene Water and Electric Board (EWEB) and Water staff confirm that water and electric <br />services are available to the property. <br /> <br />Public Safety <br />Police protection will be extended upon annexation consistent with service provision <br />through the City. Fire protection will be provided by Eugene Springfield Fire. Emergency <br />medical services are currently provided on a regional basis by the cities of Eugene and <br />Springfield to central Lane County and will continue in the same manner upon <br />annexation. <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation <br />Parks and recreation programs are provided on a City-wide basis. The inclusion of the <br />subject property in the City is sufficient evidence to demonstrate the minimum level of <br />this key urban service is met. <br /> <br />Planning and Development Services <br />Planning and building permit services are provided for all properties located within the <br />urban growth boundary by the City of Eugene. <br /> <br />Communications <br />This is not relevant as the road sections will not be developed with residential or <br />commercial uses. <br /> <br />Public Schools <br />This is not relevant as the road sections will not be developed with residential or <br />commercial uses. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />September 23, 2019, Meeting – Item 2B
