Mr. Sullivan responded that discussions <br />about the federal courthouse and the AutoCraft property could move along fairly quickly when the City had <br />certainty about its ability to move forward with redevelopment of the property in question. <br /> <br />Councilor Pap6 asked if the settlement agreement superceded the condemnation ordinance. Mr. Klein said that <br />was the staff position. If there was nothing specific in the settlement agreement, the fallback was the State <br />statute, which created the ten-year stipulation. <br /> <br />City Manager Johnson said the council would consider Council Bill 4763, an Ordinance Concerning the <br />Public Purpose for Which Property Was Condemned under Ordinance 19660. <br /> <br /> Councilor Taylor, seconded by Councilor Kelly, moved that the bill, with <br /> unanimous consent of the council, be read the second time by council <br /> bill number only, and that enactment be considered at this time. Roll <br /> call vote; the motion passed unanimously, 6:0. <br /> <br />City Manager Johnson said the council would consider Council Bill 4763 by number only. <br /> <br /> Councilor Taylor, seconded by Councilor Kelly, moved that the bill be approved and <br /> given final passage.
