Fiscal Year 2019 Work Plan Report <br />This is a report on the Human Rights Commission (HRC) FY 2019 Work Plan. The HRC <br />work plan was approved by City Council in October of 2018. Below are highlights from the past <br />year followed by charts indicating the status of each of the actions included in the FY 19 work <br />plan. <br />Highlighted Work <br />Events <br />To help raise awareness, foster respect, create community dialogue, and increase <br />education on human rights issues the Human Rights Commission (HRC) hosted, assisted with <br />organization, or had members participate in several events: <br />•International Human Rights Day Celebration <br />•City of Eugene Police Chief Recruitment Process <br />•Under the Bridge: HRC Homelessness Workgroup Film Showing & Discussion <br />•Tony ‐ The Movie: HRC Homelessness Workgroup Film Showing & Discussion <br />Funding and other support was also provided for community events organized by <br />community groups.
