Mayor Torrey said he would work to ensure that the City did not advocate for the measure, but he intended to <br />advocate for it personally. <br /> <br /> The motion passed unanimously, 8:0. <br /> <br />C.Election of Officers <br /> <br />The council briefly discussed the upcoming election of officers. By head nods, councilors <br />indicated support for Mr. Lee for the position of president. All councilors but Mr. Pap~ indicated <br />support for Ms. Taylor as vice president.
