Behavior or actions that are unreasonably <br />loud or disruptive, including refusal to obey an <br />order of the presiding officer, shall be cause for <br />removal from City Council meetings. <br />a No clapping, cheering, whistling or booing <br />a “Show of hands” in support encouraged <br />•No bags, briefcases or backpacks allowed on the <br />podium or testimony table. <br />•Flags, signs, posters, and placards are prohibited <br />unless authorized by the presiding officer. <br />Armbands, emblems, badges, and other articles <br />worn on personal clothing, so long as they do not <br />extend from the body in such a way as to cause <br />injury to another are allowed. <br />•Aisles shall be kept clear at all times. <br />Your <br />Opinion <br />Counts <br />The Public Forum is an opportunity for citizens <br />to express opinions, raise issues, and provide <br />information to the City Council. <br />In order to maintain a safe and respectful <br />environment for the expression of all points of view, <br />the following Code of Conduct rules will be enforced. <br />Are there other ways to communicate <br />with the Mayor and City Council? <br />You can contact your City Councilor or the Mayor <br />by telephone, mail or email.
