Ms. Childs said that staff could come back to the council, if the amendment passed, with the <br />rationale behind the change in the staff proposal. She noted that it would take a few weeks. She <br />noted that the item was scheduled for action on July 10, but that item would be postponed if the <br />amendment passed. <br /> <br />Mr. Meisner said that he would vote for the amendment. <br /> <br />Mr. Pap~ commented that a mathematical formula to make a decision needed to be based on the <br />values of the community. He added that the human element needed to be taken into account <br />when making environmental decisions.
