Mayor Torrey said that he continued to believe that a financial impact statement was needed <br />whenever new requests came from council or staff. <br /> <br />Mayor Torrey said that he had never seen so many people complimenting him on how well the <br />City was doing. He urged the council not to lose sight of that. <br /> <br />Jan Bohman of the City Manager's Office distributed written material regarding the goal-setting <br />process for the next cycle. She said that the process would start with background information <br />and noted that the process would start earlier and would be scaled back somewhat. She said <br />that the community survey would be submitted to the council in December. She said that there <br />was a tentatively scheduled meeting for December 13, when there would opportunities for <br />discussion and added that there would be a goal setting session in late January.
