The motion passed, 6:2; Mr. Fart and Mr. Pap~ voting no. <br /> <br /> Ms. Bettman moved, seconded by Ms. Taylor, to direct the City Manager to <br /> amend Section 9.5500(12)(b) to enhance pedestrian safety and convenience <br /> by reducing the required driveway width. <br /> <br />Mr. Kelly supported the motion and suggested staff look to the alley access guidelines for <br />direction. <br /> <br />Ms. Nathanson supported the intent of the motion. She asked if the existing driveway standard <br />was based on engineering standards. Ms. Bishow was unsure.
