<br />ATTACHMENT A <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. ___________ <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CONCERNING CITY TESTIMONY ON PERSONNEL <br />OR COLLECTIVE BARGAINING LEGISLATIVE MATTERS, AND <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4139 BY THE REPEAL OF SECTION 7 <br />THEREFROM. <br /> <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> <br /> A. <br /> On September 13, 1989 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 4139. Section 7 <br />of Resolution No. 4139 provides that the City Manager or his or her designee is authorized to <br />speak on behalf of the City if a legislative issue concerns personnel or collective bargaining <br />matters. <br /> <br />B. <br /> The City Council has determined that Section 7 should be repealed. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, a <br />Municipal Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. <br /> Section 7 of Resolution No. 4139, adopted by the City Council on September <br />13, 1989 is hereby repealed. Except as herein amended, all other provisions of Resolution No. <br />4139 remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. <br /> <br />The foregoing Resolution adopted the ____ day of April, 2007. <br /> <br /> <br /> _____________________________________ <br /> City Recorder <br /> <br />Resolution <br />
