Refers proposed amendment to people for their <br />approval or rejection at next regular general election. <br /> Relating to: N/A <br /> <br /> Staff Recommendation: Priority 2, Oppose (By Eric Jones) <br />IGR Committee Vote: Priority 3, Support with amendments (2/1, Bettman, Pryor Yes / <br />Taylor, No) <br /> <br />(See page 5 of the IGR Meeting Minutes of April 19, 2007.) <br /> <br /> <br />RELATED CITY POLICIES <br />Ratification of IGR Committee actions is the making or affirming of the City of Eugene’s policy <br />with respect to Federal and State legislative issues or such other matters as may come to the <br />council from the committee. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL OPTIONS <br /> <br />The council may ratify or decline to ratify the IGR Committee’s actions as set forth in the <br />minutes of the committee's meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />The City Manager recommends ratification of the IGR Committee's actions as set forth in the <br />minutes of the committee's meeting and that there be a discussion on the decisions that were not <br />unanimous. <br /> <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION <br /> <br />Move to ratify the IGR Committee's actions as set forth in the minutes of the March 22, 2007, <br />April 5, 2007, April 12, 2007, and April 19, 2007, IGR meetings. <br /> <br />Motions to state positions for the bills discussed at this City Council meeting also may be made. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />A.
