Sanitary sewer system <br />The sanitary sewer system was upgraded as part of the original Renewal project. <br />This upgrading consisted of relining the existing lines with plastic pipe liners. <br />Each building was reconnected at that time. The engineering analysis showed <br />that the existing capacity was sufficient. <br />5. Water delivery system <br />According to the Eugene Water and Electric Board, the water delivery system <br />throughout the original Downtown Urban Renewal District is in sufficient condition <br />and of sufficient capacity to support additional development. <br />6. Streets, Alleys, Sidewalks, etc. <br />The major portions of the streets, alleys and sidewalks within the Renewal Area <br />were upgraded as part of the original project and remain in good condition. The <br />remaining areas to be upgraded are adjacent to proposed development sites and <br />will be rebuilt concurrent with the new development. <br />B. Social Conditions <br />According to a 2004 Planning and Development Department analysis, there are 196 <br />housing units within the Downtown Urban Renewal District. <br />C. Economic Conditions <br />1. Value of Property <br />The 2006/2007 taxable assessed value for the entire City is $10,258,394,100.
