Eligible <br />activities most relevant to hazard mitigation include: acquisition of property for public <br />purposes; construction/reconstruction of public infrastructure; and community planning <br />activities. Member agencies in NEHRP <br />are the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the National Science Foundation <br />(NSF), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the National <br />Institute for Standards and Technology (MIST).
