What was accomplished for this project during this reporting period (2015 <br />2020)? <br />Fifteen of the City's highest priority bridges were analyzed for vulnerability to <br />seismic events. Results of the high level analysis indicated the Ferry Street <br />Viaduct project will utilize the bulk of the seismic retrofitting funding. <br />2. What obstacles, problems, or delays did the project encounter? <br />Seismic retrofitting of bridges is expensive and often a multijurisdictional <br />projects. The City is actively pursuing possible funding sources for future <br />projects concerning the retrofitting of bridges. <br />3. If uncompleted, is the project still relevant? Should the project be changed or <br />revised? <br />This project is considered complete. Projects moving forward will address <br />specific mitigation projects developed from the high level seismic assessments <br />of the City's top fifteen priority bridges. <br />4.
