2 <br />Hazard Descriptions <br />2.1 Hazard Descriptions <br />The Cities of Eugene and Springfield are subject to the following natural hazards, <br />listed alphabetically and without considering risk or mitigation priorities: <br />• Drought <br />• Earthquake <br />• Extreme Weather <br />• Flood <br />• Geomagnetic Disturbance (GMD) <br />• Landslide <br />• Volcano <br />• Wildfire <br />• Windstorm <br />• Winter Storm <br />Additionally, the Eugene -Springfield NHMP addresses four "non -natural' hazards <br />or impacts. These four impacts may occur due to natural hazard incidents: <br />• Civil Unrest <br />• Dam or Levee Failure <br />• Epidemics <br />• Hazardous Materials <br />The following sections identify and profile the location, extent, previous <br />occurrences, and future probability of each hazard listed above.
