Appendices <br />The City of Springfield obtains most of its water from wells and the best way to protect <br />well heads is through the careful management of hazardous material and harmful <br />chemical storage. The Springfield Utility Board has created a Wellhead Protection <br />Program that identifies wellhead protection areas and limits hazardous materials and <br />harmful chemicals from being stored near wellheads. <br />6-152 January 2020 <br />
