Daisy Burge - offered ideas about where police funds could be reallocated. <br />Mayor Vinis closed the public hearing. <br />Council Discussion <br />Councilor Syrett - said changes to the budget must be made responsibly and deliberately. <br />Councilor Clark - said the City Council represents all people and perspectives. <br />MOTION AND VOTE: Councilor Semple, seconded by Councilor Yeh, moved to adopt <br />Resolution 5300 electing to receive State Revenue Sharing funds pursuant to Section 221.770 <br />of Oregon Revised Statutes. PASSED 8:0 <br />MOTION AND VOTE: Councilor Semple, seconded by Councilor Yeh, moved to adopt <br />Resolution 5301 certifying that the City of Eugene provides the municipal services required by <br />Oregon Revised Statues Section 221.760. PASSED 8:0 <br />MOTION AND VOTE: Councilor Semple, seconded by Councilor Yeh, moved to adopt <br />Resolution 5302 adopting the budget, making appropriations, and determining, levying and <br />categorizing the annual ad valorem property tax levy for the City of Eugene for the fiscal year <br />beginning July 1, 2020 and ending June 30, 2 02 1. PASSED 8:0 <br />Mayor Vinis closed the meeting of the Eugene City Council and opened a meeting of the Eugene Urban <br />Renewal Agency. <br />S. PUBLIC HEARING and ACTION: A Resolution of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Eugene <br />Adopting the Budget, Making Appropriations, and Declaring the Amount of Tax to be Certified <br />for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2020 and Ending June 20, 2021 <br />Mayor Vinis opened the public hearing. <br />1.
