ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-20-25 <br />of the City Manager <br />REPEALING ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-17-08 REGARDING <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER APPOINTMENT. <br />The City Manager· of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />A. Under the provisions of Chapter IV, Section 16 of the Eugene Charter of 2002, the <br />City Manager is designated as the administrative head of the City, and is specifically authorized <br />to appoint and remove all employees ( except as otherwise provided in the Charter), and to enforce <br />all ordinances of the City. <br />B. On April 17, 2017, Administrative Order No. 58-17-08 was issued appointing <br />Matthew J. Rodrigues as the City's Traffic Engineer. <br />C. Matthew J. Rodrigues currently serves as the Executive Director of Public Works, <br />AIC, and the duties and responsibilities previously assigned to the City's Traffic Engineer position <br />are to be shared among qualified City staff, as directed by separate administrative orders . <br />D. Therefore, Administrative Order No. 58-17-08 should be repealed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Manager of the City of Eugene orders and du-ects <br />that: <br />Administrative Order No. 58-17-08 is repealed as of the effective date of this Order. <br />Dated and effective this '5fh-' day of August, 2020. <br />Administrative Order -Page 1 of 1
